This brut, which we wanted to dedicate to our grandfather Gerardo Ruggeri, comes from the oldest vineyards (35-40 years old) of Santo Stefano, in homage to the passion with which he cared for his 'Rive', the vineyards located on the steepest soils. The scents are generous with hints of citrus fruits and fresh vegetables often accompanied by a pleasant note of bread combined with a lively energy. The fine perlage ensures the persistence of the flavour and cleanliness of the palate.
"Dedicated to his grandfather Gerardo who passionately cared for his Rive, the vineyards located in the steepest terrain, we are left with the image of us children running towards him while he proudly shows us the shining bunches under the rays of the September sun, giving us his inevitable smile that we carry inside us as the most precious gift...". From our vineyards of Santo Stefano, in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene D.O.C.G. area, comes Gerardo, Rive di Santo Stefano with its straw yellow colour, typical of the vine, and rich scents of citrus fruits and fresh vegetables, often with a pleasant note of bread, combined with a beautiful and lively taste energy. The fine perlage ensures the persistence of the flavour and cleanliness of the palate.
