Ponte Rosso is a locality near the Castle of San Salvatore, where the soil is particularly clayey. In the past, red clay was extracted in this area to produce tiles and bricks for the houses of the Corte dei Conti di Collalto. The bricks made with this clay were so intense in colour that the bridge with which it was built took the name Ponte Rosso. The Glera generated from this land is rich in minerals, perfect for a Brut Nature, well structured, mineral and austere like our Red Bridge.
This Prosecco represents the most modern and innovative version of the D.O.C.G.
It has a beautiful straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent and explodes in a creamy and lively foam.
On the nose its fragrance characteristics reveal the presence of notes of fully ripe Pink Lady apple and St. Peter's pears, on a delicate floral background. In the mouth it is ample and harmonious and at the same time mineral, characteristics that give it vigor and persistence and allow to identify the same fruity notes that can be perceived on the nose.
Excellent in combination with classic seafood and shellfish, fatty fish and white meat. We recommend serving at a temperature of 6-8°C.
