Villa Sandi is a symbol of the Prosecco area. The headquarters is a Palladian building dating back to 1622 and the Moretti Polegato family's mission is to reinterpret in a modern key the ancient role of the Venetian villas, the fulcrum of wine activities and cultural centre. The Villa Sandi estates cover all areas of Prosecco, from the wider and flatter DOC to the gentle hills of Asolo DOCG to the steeper slopes of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG hills to the cru of Cartizze in Valdobbiadene.
The passion and commitment to produce wines of excellence include a wider commitment to protect and safeguard such a special territory. Environment and sustainability are the challenges, but also the opportunities with which the producers measure themselves and which at Villa Sandi have been translated into the "Biodiversity Friend" certification. Biodiversity is a choice and a company philosophy that includes care of the vineyard in terms of sustainability and protection of biodiversity, use of renewable energy, attention to water resources, maintenance of wooded areas and hedges near the vineyards to ensure a suitable habitat for a variety of animal species that, with their presence, are the guarantee of a healthy environment.
The wines of Villa Sandi are the synthesis of innovation and research while respecting tradition. This is testified by the reds matured in wood such as Còrpore and Filio, the wines from native vines such as Manzoni Bianco and Raboso, as well as the Spumante Metodo Classico Opere Trevigiane and of course the Prosecco from DOC to Asolo Superiore DOCG to Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG. The privilege of representing the values and flavours of a unique territory, becoming ambassadors of a style where beauty and authenticity coincide.
